This is a nostalgic homage to vintage gardens. It showcases faded hydrangeas amidst dense foliage, with moths rising toward the light. The subdued yet glorious beauty of the flowers captures a timeless charm. This mural evokes a musical conundrum with the lines, “I beg your pardon, I never promised you a rose garden. Along with the sunshine, there’s got to be a little rain sometimes.” It leaves viewers contemplating which is the true metaphoric wallflower: the celebrated roses or the beautiful country cousin, the hydrangeas.
