Conceived as an intimate sanctum at the heart of Arzaani, the space is envisioned not as a conventional gallery, but as a dynamic cultural environment for art, dialogue, and discovery.
Art lovers in Delhi can now experience the enduring legacy of one of India’s most celebrated modern artists through Sanctum: Gujral, a permanent and evolving cultural chamber at Arzaani Atelier Privé, Bikaner House. Conceived by Raseel Gujral Ansal and presented by RGAL | Raseel Gujral Art Legacy, the space offers a more intimate way of engaging with art, encouraging visitors to spend time reflecting on each work rather than simply viewing it.
In 2024, visual artist Manjunath Kamath displayed his artwork to great effect at the CCA building of Delhi’s Bikaner House. Visitors to his exhibition ‘Shakekthu Shalpaka’ were met with a gigantic terracotta sculpture with an imposing headdress comprising dozens of smaller heads arranged like grapes on vines, that stood atop two mythical animist creatures.
Raseel Gujral Ansal is currently working on a temple complex in Kurukshetra for ISKCON, and a spiritual centre in Tankara, Gujarat, for the Arya Samaj. Also high-end residential projects in Hyderabad, Goa and Delhi.

The recent exhibition, Dakhin Dilli, at Delhi’s Bikaner House, has been curated by interior-product designer Raseel Gujral as a dialogue between Indian devotional traditions of the south and the north. Featuring over 200 traditional artworks, it has a 90-year-old vintage parrot green Pichwai from Nathdwara interacting with a Vagai wood Panchmukhi Hanuman sculpture from the south; an MV Dhurandhar oleograph of Shiva Parwati as Kirat Bhilli interacting with a Tanjore relief of Shiva-Parvati on Nandi; garuda figures interacting with south Indian angels.
