This richly embroidered textile piece features silver- and gold-thread Jardoshi embroidery on deep purple or maroon velvet. The central field is divided diagonally by embroidered lines radiating from a central star-like medallion, flanked by scattered floral sprays, and enclosed by wide, ornate borders filled with repeating geometric floral cartouches and corner rosettes.
