Radha Krishana
Raja Ravi Verma | 1903
Lord Krishna sitting cross-legged on a decorated blue carpet spread across an open marble terrace. He wears a multi-tiered golden crown adorned with a peacock feather pattern and an elegant yellow and green dhoti. He holds his divine wooden flute (murali) to his lips.
Next to him sits Radha, looking at him with deep affection while leaning slightly forward, resting her hand near her chin.
She is dressed in a traditional deep maroon and gold sari, with flowers beautifully tucked into her hair. Both figures are adorned with intricate, classic Indian gold jewelry, including necklaces, armlets, and bangles.
