Hanuman Face Mask

A traditional silver-plated processional mask or face (mukha-linga or deity head) of a Hindu deity, likely representing a form of Shiva or a regional folk deity. The face is crafted in polished silver with detailed repoussé work. It features prominent, stylized eyes painted yellow with black pupils, a distinct black mustache, and red lips. A traditional V-shaped tilak mark is painted in orange and red on the forehead. The mask is crowned with an elaborate, tiered conical headdress, also silver-plated and adorned with intricate floral and filigree patterns. Large, prominent ears with distinct orange-colored cavities project from the sides.
